Nick Jr. is a cable TV channel aimed for younger children 2 - 6 years old. Operated by MTV Networks Asia Pacific and owned by Viacom International.

In May 16, 2011, Viacom launched two new channels, Nick Jr. and MTVNHD, in Asia. These 24-hour channels will be available on StarHub TV in Singapore beginning May 18 and on Telekom Malaysia Berhad's Hypp.TV in Malaysia on June 1 onwards. The channel will launch aggressively to the rest of Southeast Asia sooner this year. Nick Junior available as a block on Nickelodeon Philippines [1]

History

Nick Jr. along with MTVNHD was first announced on May 16, 2011. It was promoted on Nickelodeon. The channel is available on StarHub TV in Singapore and Hypp.TV in Malaysia and sooner to the rest of the region.
